Anyone can download the installer. Get a license key from your team administrator or contact us.

Download and open the DMG. Drag Katip into Applications. Enter your license key on first launch, then set up recording permissions and your preferred models.
Where do I get a license key?
Licenses are issued individually and work on one Mac. Ask your team administrator or email yusuf@divisionlab.ai.
Can I use Katip offline?
Your first license activation requires internet. After successful verification, you can work offline for 7 days before reconnecting. Local models run on your device once downloaded. Cloud models require internet.
Are my meetings uploaded to a server?
Your archive is stored on your device. When you choose local models for every task, meeting content is not sent to the cloud for AI processing. Cloud models receive the audio or text needed for the selected task. License verification does not use meeting content.
Do I have to share diagnostics?
No. Diagnostics are off by default. You can opt in during setup and turn them off at any time in Settings → Privacy. Shared technical records do not contain audio, meeting text, titles or API keys.
How do I get updates?
Katip checks for new versions in the app. Download and install from the update notification, or enable automatic updates in Settings → General. This page also links to the current release.
Does the license include model usage?
You connect cloud providers with your own account or API key; their usage terms and charges apply. You can also run local models on a compatible Mac. A Katip license does not include provider subscriptions or API credits.
